These wall mounts are really great. If you have the studs in the right place to mount them to, stop here and just buy them. They are really heavy duty, and look nice as well. The other thing about them is, you can still, with a little engineering, very safely use them on much larger speakers than the mount says.
My speakers were just about 2 and a half inches too wide for the brackets to clamp the sides of them, so I very carefully with the right pwer tools cut slices on the bottom of the speakers just big enough for those clamps to slide up into, worked great and you would never know by looking, that those barckets were not made for my speakers. I absolutly love them, will get another pair just to have, because of the quality in them.

I bought these mounts around 6 months ago. They are very sturdy, and were ideal for my PSB B45 bookshelf speakers, which i use as rear speakers in my home theater.
They have been very well designed to allow you to mount the speakers in any direction. From where i sit in my living room, one of the speakers needed to go on the wall on my left side. On the right side, though, the wall was at 90 deg. But these brackets were flexible enough to do the job perfectly. You can adjust the angle, the tilt - everything has been considered.
As others have noted, the manufacturer recommends fastening the speakers with the help of screws, which is not a good idea. Since i don't plan to remove these speakers any time soon, I ended up using industrial grade velcro between the speaker and the clamps. Ofcourse, while placing the speaker on the bracket, i had to be careful to spread the clamps far enough to clear the mating velcro on the speakers to avoid joining them in the wrong place. Once the speaker was in the right position, i just squeezed the clamps onto it and then tightened them.

I received and installed these mounts yesterday. The installation was very easy and the speakers feel very solid once they are hooked up. The mounts are very strong and I have no doubt that they could hold the advertised 55 pounds (not that a bookshelf speaker weighs that much).
The only tip I can give on installing these is that you give yourself plenty of clearance. My speakers are about 9.5 inches tall, and I placed the bottom of the mounting bracket about 15 inches down from the ceiling so that I could get a full 7 degree tilt.
Although these are a bit more expensive than other mounts I have seen, I really liked the idea of being able to place my speakers on them without the need to actually run screws into my speakers.

I have been using these brackets for about a year now. I am using them with a pair of Polk Audio RTi4's. They match perfectly.
They are built very sturdy and have been able to withstand the occasional flying object by my three and five year old boys.
As a precaution, I use black zip ties to hold the speaker on to the bracket since I did not want to put screws into my speakers.
These brackets are just what I was looking for and would highly recommend them to anyone who was in my similar situation of needing/wanting a wall mount bracket for their bookshelf speakers.

These mounts are super strong and install with ease. Not to mention they don't look half bad. They are quite large so I would only purchase them if smaller brackets will not handle the weight of your speakers.
They suggest that you secure your speakers by inserting 3 screws into the bottom of your speaker. I did not do this and my speakers are still firmly in place. I attached the speaker wires with locking banana plugs as a backup.
