Reviews : B-TECH BT77 UltraGrip Pro Speaker Wall Mounts |
Technical Details
- One of the major changes in setting-up a home-theater surround system over a stereo system is how to properly phase the speakers in-line with your video output
- In the theater, the screen is usually slightly above your head and the sound is aimed at the audience from above
- Mounting your speakers to the wall can help simulate this effect for a better level of surround realism
- The BT77 bracket is designed to support mid-size speakers that might usually function as the important front left/right channels
- Handles a speaker from 5.5 to 11 Wide, up to 13 Deep and up to 20 High

I bought these mounts after reading about them on some other websites. I used these to mount Polk RTi4 bookshelf speakers to a back wall of my room. The mounts are strong and hold up very well with basic screws and drywall anchors. The mounts give the speaker lots of freedom to be positioned and angled so the sound is aimed right at you. If you are trying to mount any bookshelf speaker then these mounts will do it with flexibility and ease.

The favorable reviews here are well-deserved. This is a seriously solid piece. Mounted properly, your speakers will not be going anywhere. Adjustments to speaker angle are possible without removing from the wall. I've got four of these in use for both front and rear home theater speakers. Nice product.

They look nice and allowed for flush-mounting on the side of our fireplace because of the 180 degree rotation. I use them to hold 15lb speakers and they are plenty sturdy.
The reason for 4 instead of five stars is that they strongly suggest you use wood screws to fasten the bottom and side of your speakers if you use the tilting ability of these mounts. The addition of front and back clamps (similar to the existing side clamps) would have eliminated that requirement for my speakers.

Had a speaker fall of the wall, while still mounted to this bracket. Hit both studs and was in the weight capacity specified. I wouldn't reccomend or trust this product again..........

This is the second pair of the same item I purchased. They are easy to install as 1,2,3. These mounts are made heavy duty and look great after they are installed. Highly recommend for everyone who likes to wall mount their bookshelf speakers.
